Space Hellas S.A. participated as an exhibitor in the Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC 2018) that took place in Barcelona from 26 February to March 1. The Mobile World Congress is the most important mobile communications event in the world and only this year attracted more than 107,000 visitors, including 7,700 CEOs, from 205 countries and territories worldwide. MWC has long been the destination to see cutting edge commercialized innovation like 5G, Biometrics, AI, and IoT. Space Hellas participated in the Mobile World Congress with City.Risks mobile app and solution. It showcased how mobile apps like City.Risks can contribute to the increased personal and collective sense of security among citizens in Cities by leveraging the power of social media and other key enabling technologies like safe routing, augmented reality and smart sensor technologies.  City.Risks was quite in line with the main theme of this year conference towards creating a Better Future reflecting the impact of mobiles on the lives of people around the world. It attracted the interest of many participants especially City Authorities and Telco operators like DT, Telefonica and AirTel that considered City.risks as good example how telco operators can promote security as a shared responsibility and was considered complementary to initiatives promoted by operators like AirTel in India and Telefonica in Brazil towards the use of Big data and mobile apps for social good to help public agencies and NGOs tackle epidemics, natural disasters and environmental crises and through City.Risks promote the Security.
